In traditional MLM, the focus is on new members, New Members, NEW MEMBERS!!!! There is no emphasis on sales, except for those that you are required to buy yourself. So, with Network Marketing you've got your own sales from online sales of various products, perhaps AdSense, or ebooks or any number of other items. AND you may have a downline doing the same thing.
